This afternoon, Pete came out of his corner and ventured across the cockpit to the starboard gunnel. He rested there then tackled the stairs to the aft deck. We figured he would hang out there for a while, but he surprised us by spreading his wings and flying away! (I guess Google was right: all he needed was rest).
